The free Simms Park Summer Concert series season kicks off with the smooth jazz sounds Ralph Barrat and the Sharp Seven this July 9 at 7 p.m.

Take a seat as the band transports you to the golden era of jazz. Enjoy songs such as 鈥淟ady is a Tramp鈥�, 鈥淭ake the A-Train鈥� and 鈥淔ly Me to the Moon鈥� just to name a few.

This dynamic seven-piece combo includes Ralph Barrat on vocals with a three piece horn section including Jake Masri (trumpet), Jeff Agopsowicz (trombone), and Rachel Fuller (alto). The band also includes Grahame Edwards (bass), Michael Eddy (keyboard) and Neil Clark (drums).

Simms Millennium Park is located by the 5th Street Bridge and across from Lewis Park. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
