Dear editor,

I am a huge fan of Sonia Furstenau, the leader of the BC Green Party. I think she is one of the few intelligent, well-spoken, and astute politicians in Canada today.

However, I will not be voting for her in the upcoming election. At 10 per cent provincial support in recent surveys, neither should anyone else.

With the NDP and Conservative parties in a close race, a vote for a Green is a wasted vote. You may find yourself under a government so far removed from your political beliefs, concerns, and values. Climate change deniers, anti-vaccine conspiracy theorists, LGBTQ+ homophobes, truck convoy supporters and so forth.

Do not waste your vote!  Vote NDP.

Take one for the team, the betterment of B.C. and our world.
