Are Conservatives spooking NDP?
With two and a half months to go before the B.C. provincial election, so far 11 BC NDP MLAs will not be running for re-election.
This includes nine cabinet ministers and two back benchers.
One has to think what is the reason for their decision. They are all saying it is time to spend more time with their families and to allow new fresh faces to become MLAs.
Good reason, but with the strong popularity of the BC Conservative party, could the true reason be that they are admitting that the BC NDP could end up as the official opposition party in the B.C. legislature? And after sitting on the government side of the legislature, who wants to sit another four years on the opposition side of the legislature?
