In memory of Carol's passing one year ago ~

Carol was the beloved wife of Bob, her late husband of 58 years, dear mother to son Brent Brucker (Marie) and daughter Karen Moore (David), and most special grandmother to Adam and Aimee. She is also survived by her sister Darlene Tait and brother Richard Krowchenko.

Bob's career with the RCMP took Carol on a journey, including Meadow Lake, Regina, Saskatoon, North Battleford, Ottawa and White Rock. In 1998, they settled in the Comox Valley.

Carol had an accomplished 30 year career as a Registered Nurse, specializing in ER nursing and trauma care. She was truly respected by her peers, and proudly gave her all on every shift.

Carol was an avid sewer and she also loved her flower gardens - red geraniums and canna lilies were her favourite flowers, and she was sure to plant them no matter where she lived.

Carol was a gentle soul with a special sense of humour who always had a smile to share, but she also had an inner strength that was second to none. She loved those close to her unconditionally - one of her most special traits.

Missed dearly by all, she will be forever in our hearts.
