Even though radio stations are done playing Baby It's Cold Outside, Greater Victorians might still be singing it in February because of the bitterly cold temperatures.
But while the weather outside is freezing, that doesn’t mean local's love lives have to be.
Hotel Zed, a B.C. hotel chain, is again offering its iconic 'nooner' midday stay in February from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year, the 'nooner' can be paired with a private coaching session with a certified sex educator and coach through their 'Love & Learn' package.
Guests can book a virtual coaching session before their stay to explore desire mapping, improve communication, expand pleasure and overcome blocks of arousal.
The hotel is also hosting a Love & Learn workshop series in Grandma’s Basement (don't let the name fool you) at Hotel Zed Victoria throughout February as part of their celebration of sex-positivity.
“At Hotel Zed we are passionate advocates for sex-positivity because we believe good sex is empowering and essential for both physical and mental health,” says Mandy Farmer, CEO of Hotel Zed. “Learning about this topic is a game-changer – it’s how people can reignite the spark, unlock their erotic potential, and transform their lives in incredible ways.”
Workshops, facilitated by Maxine Fischer, will take place on Thursdays: Feb. 6 – Rekindling the Spark (for new parents and people in long-term relationships); Feb. 13: De-coding Desire (for singles and couples that want to increase desire and pleasure); and Feb. 20: Introduction to Kink - BDSM - What is it?
