The Comox Valley RCMP are currently on scene at a residence located on the 500 block of 6th Ave, in Courtenay.
The Comox Valley RCMP were called to the residence during the early morning hours of June 30th. Upon arrival, a deceased 25-year old male Courtenay resident was located outside the residence.
A 37-year old male, from Courtenay, has been arrested for this incident and remains in custody, as the investigation continues. The victim and the suspect were known to each other.
