Gunter Kiphard from Frankfurt created this stunning high definition video of a recent trip to Tofino and Ucluelet. At nine-minutes in length, his short includes humpback whales fluking and orcas swimming underneath the Zodiac.

Brian Congdon of Ucluelet鈥檚 Subtidal Adventures said Gunter鈥檚 West Coast experience is actually quite rare.
鈥淲e don鈥檛 see killer whales often. It鈥檚 an amazing experience, but it鈥檚 not a common thing that鈥檚 for sure.鈥�
He said the 2018 whale watching season has been excellent.
鈥淓verybody is busy. It鈥檚 been a good season in spite of the ,鈥� said Congdon.
