“All of our members have +50 years of photographic experience navigating changes from traditional film and darkroom to digital processes,” said member Ernst Vegt. “What hasn’t changed is the passion that each member brings to their craft.”

Each photographer created three black-and-white images and the exhibit has examples of street photography, landscapes and intentional camera movement. British Columbia, Washington State, Newfoundland, Africa and New York City are some of the settings.

A reception will be held on Thursday, July 13, 6:30-8 p.m. The photographers will be available to discuss their work and the prints that are on display. Please feel free to join them and view this collection of photographic prints. Light refreshments will be served.

The Pearl Ellis Gallery is located at 1729 Comox Ave. in Comox. Open Tuesday-Saturday, noon-4 p.m. Admission is free.
