The Palance Band will be performing at The Elks Lodge on Nov. 2, and it’ll be a toe tapping good time. They aren’t your sit and listen type of band, instead they invite the audience to strap on their dancing shoes and twirl around the dance floor.
The theme of the afternoon is sequins, feathers, flapper dresses and frock coats as ‘A Night at the Palace’ sets out to entertain you.
Drawing on their collective history of musical theatre, jazz programs, and a wealth of other musical projects, they created a repertoire inspired by the jazz music of the 20s to the 40s.
The Palace Band is Tom Bradbrooke on vocals and piano, Kevin Robinson on standup bass, Luke Sales on trumpet, James McRae on drums, Ashlee Sales on lead vocals and Galen Mongeau on vocals and guitar.
Downbeat at 1:30 p.m., admission is $25.00, $20.00 for members.
