A local couple placed at the 23rd annual Snowball Classic International Dance Sport Competition earlier this month in Vancouver.
John Burke and Doreen Thompson placed first in Senior Pre-Bronze and third in Adult Pre-Bronze Standard Waltz and Quickstep. They were finalists in Senior 1 Bronze Waltz, Tango and Senior 1 Bronze Latin Cha Cha and Rumba.
The couple competed all three days and enjoyed watching all levels of competitions and world-class performances by top competitors from around the world in ballroom and Latin dancing.
