The Potters Place showcases Garnet and Scott Beardsley for the month of May.
These well-known and meticulous Denman Island artists are well-respected members of the artistic community of the Comox Valley. Garnet鈥檚 mugs and plates are delicate, colourful depictions of stories with fairies, butterflies and dragonflies. Scott鈥檚 work is wondrous 鈥� a fall of leaves, a hint of leopard amongst a brown field, the beach on a sunny day, a summer field of grass 鈥� the surface decoration and glazes on his functional pottery are richly delicious.
You must make a point of seeing this fantastic selection of work. The Potters Place is open Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
