Artists on Denman Island are gearing up for this year's ART studio tour, to be held Aug. 17 and 18.
The tour this year will include 12 stops, and can be done in one day.
"This is a great opportunity for curious art-lovers to get up-close with local artists, as they reveal their new work, share their stories, inspirations, and processes. Between woodworking art, fabric and hand printed lino cuts, pottery, paintings, stained glass and mosaics, photography and more鈥here are treasures for everyone!" a release from the organizers says.
The tour stops will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day, and maps can be picked up in advance at the shops and stores in Denman downtown, as well as during the tour at the Buckley Bay ferry booth.

"So make your way to Buckley Bay, hop on the ferry and have a magical time amongst some of our most talented artists and enjoy the unique atmosphere and natural beauty of Denman Island. You can even come by foot and hop on & off the Denman bus!" the release says.
