As the days grow longer and nature stirs to life, the Pearl Ellis Gallery invites the public to experience Awakening, the 2025 spring members鈥� show.
Running from March 4 to March 29, the dynamic exhibition features work from 49 talented local artists, capturing the essence of renewal and transformation in a variety of styles and mediums.
Join the gallery for the opening reception on March 8, from 1 to 3 p.m, where you can meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and immerse yourself in the creative energy of the season.
About her painting A Quick Visit, Maggie Ziegler says, 鈥淓very spring, the return of Rufous hummingbirds brings a sense of renewal to the Comox Valley. This painting captures the joy of seeing these tiny, vibrant visitors once again.鈥�
From seasoned professionals to emerging talents, Awakening showcases a diverse collection of original paintings, photography, sculpture, and more. At The Pearl, all pieces are available for purchase, along with an excellent selection of art cards by local artists - perfect for gift-giving or adding a touch of inspiration to your home.
As a volunteer-run, non-profit gallery, the Pearl Ellis Gallery is dedicated to supporting and celebrating the arts in our community. Located in downtown Comox at 1729 Comox Ave., the gallery offers free admission and is wheelchair accessible.
