Planning an event, a wedding, or are you part of the event industry?
Then you will want to attend the Comox Valley Love Affair. Mark March 5 on your calendar to attend a new style of wedding show.
The event is brought to you by Jenny Deters of the Old House Village Hotel and Spa and Karen McKinnon, the Valley’s leading wedding photographer.
“We are so excited about the exhibitors and what they are offering attendees. For the first time ever, Shades of White Bridal Boutique will be coming to the Comox Valley, and attendees will actually be able to try on their dresses and consult on styles. This is a great opportunity,” says Deters.
Other exhibitors include all the Valley’s top-notch facilities, beauty services, chocolate treats, photographers, florists, wine and beer-making services and DJs.
When guests arrive, they will be welcomed with a Blue Moon Winery cocktail and a Tria Culinary Studio gourmet crepe. While enjoying their treats, they will walk the grounds of the Old House Village Hotel and Spa and visit with exhibitors in the hotel’s suites and grounds, including in the Old House Restaurant.
“We have created an environment where attendees will receive the opportunity to truly connect with exhibitors, and where exhibitors have the opportunity to truly showcase what they do. For example, our caterers will be displaying in a suite with a kitchen, so attendees can sample their skills,” Deters adds.
As part of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to win the Dreamy Wedding Package, which includes prizes such as romantic getaways, photography sessions, jewelry and spa treatments.
