On Jan. 20, Brian Minter will be speaking to the Comox Valley Horticultural Society about “What’s new, interesting and exciting for our gardens in 2025.”
Minter has attended most of the major horticultural shows in Europe and North America, looking for new and exciting plants that are more adaptable to our climate. The Comox Valley Horticultural Society invites the public to discover these great new ideas and plants.
Minter’s gardening knowledge comes from decades of hands-on experience. He ran the Minter Country Garden’s with his wife in Chilliwack, BC. Minter continually researches the latest industry developments and consults with gardeners both locally and internationally.
Minter has a BA from UBC and is a Master Gardener. He was inducted into the Garden Writers Association’s Hall of Fame and is a regular columnist for the Vancouver Sun newspaper and an open line host for CBC Radio.
The meeting will take place via Zoom on Jan. 20 at 7 p.m..
