This Sunday at 4 p.m., The Tides of Life — a Reflection on Change is the subject of special guest speaker Rev. Shana Lynngood at the regular service of the Comox Valley Unitarians.

Lynngood comments that “one of the central spiritual challenges in life is finding a way to navigate the changes that come our way —both expected and unexpected.

“Not surprisingly, the cycles of nature, in particular the movement of the tides has a great deal of wisdom to offer us. How can we welcome (or at least not actively resist) change? How can we learn greater flexibility of spirit? We’ll explore these questions together.”

Lynngood is the Co-Minister of the First Unitarian Church in Victoria. She grew up in Philadelphia, and has served congregations in Madison, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C. For a PBS I Believe interview with Shana about Unitarianism go to Google Video and enter her name.

The Unitarians meet at 250 Beach Ave. (Comox United Church).
