Comox Legion President Gerry Maillet, Past President John Paulin, Comox Mayor Nicole Minions, Poppy Campaign Organizer Val Greenlaw.

Yesterday (Oct.24) at the Comox Legion, the annual tradition of presenting the first Poppy to the Comox Mayor was continued. This represents the beginning of our Poppy fundraising activities.

The Comox Legion sends out many thanks to the local businesses that have our Poppy boxes on display.

Comox Legion will also be present at the Comox Mall to sell Poppies and answer any questions relating to the Poppy Campaign.

Please buy and wear a poppy to show your support for all our veterans.  All money raised from this campaign goes directly to help veterans.

The Comox Legion thanks to all the volunteers. Please contact poppy@comoxlegion.ca if you want to volunteer or host a Poppy box in your business or organization.

All help is greatly appreciated.

To see a variety of poppy- and remembrance-themed merchandise, go to  where proceeds from sales also go towards Canadian veterans.
