Together Filberg Festival & Nautical Days will bring 233 artisans, 72 musicians, and an influx of tourism to the Comox area.

This year two beloved community events are teaming up in Comox for a packed weekend of family fun.

The Town of Comox is thrilled to announce Festival Weekend in Comox, taking place this August Long Weekend, August 1 to 4.Two beloved community events, Filberg Festival and Nautical Days, are teaming up to create an action-packed weekend full of music, art, culture, and family-friendly fun.

This exciting collaboration promises something for everyone. Whether you’re strolling through the artisan market at Filberg Festival, dancing to live music at Marina Park during Nautical Days, or enjoying the many food vendors, performances, and activities, Festival Weekend in Comox will be the place to be this summer.

“Festival weekend in Downtown Comox is our largest community celebration and we cannot wait for another exciting year! The festivities will attract locals and visitors alike to enjoy and celebrate art, music, food, culture and a mix of both new and traditional activities,” said Nicole Minions, Comox Mayor. “By coming together under the Festival Weekend banner, Comox Nautical Days Festival and Filberg Festival showcase just how much our community can offer when we work together. We’re extremely proud of the energy, creativity, and sense of connection this weekend brings, and we look forward to welcoming you back to make more memories this year. Everyone is welcome!”

To make it even easier to take part in all the festivities, a convenient shuttle service will be running throughout the weekend, connecting Filberg Festival and Nautical Days. This service will ensure attendees can seamlessly experience both events without the hassle of parking or traffic. Parking will be at Phil and Jennie Gaglardi Academy 1475 Noel Ave, Comox.

“This year, we’re shaking things up at Nautical Days while still honouring what makes it a favourite,” said Mark Edwin Berge, the new Event Producer. “Joining forces with Filberg Festival turns it into a full Festival Weekend - something for everyone, all in one spot. We can’t wait to welcome the whole community.”
