The Comox Community Centre, located at 1855 Noel Ave., Comox, is hosting a Family Day Extravaganza. on Monday, Feb. 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. This free community event offers a wide variety of activities for families to enjoy together.
Events include:
- Free Face Painting for kids
- Inflatable Obstacle Course and gym fun
- Open Gym & Games including parachute games and other activities
- Arts & Crafts for creative hands-on time
- Board Games for family bonding
- Story Time for children and parents
Also planned for the day is live Axe Capoeira Entertainment from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a free family intro lesson and demonstration available for anyone interested in learning more about this musical and exciting Brazilian martial art.
Free Squash Lessons from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Families can sign up for 25-minute lessons to try their hand at squash.
The Seniors' Intergenerational Action Network will be facilitating storytelling and board games, offering a wonderful opportunity for different generations to come together and enjoy the day.
This event is entirely free, and everyone is welcome to join in on the fun.
