The Cumberland Culture and Arts Society would like to thank First Credit Union, Cumberland Rotary Club and many other donors for helping to raise funds for a new mural in our community that will celebrate our community forest and our mountain biking culture.
Celebrated local artist Gillian Brooks has created a bright and refreshing design that will grace the Telus exchange building on Dunsmuir Ave in Cumberland.
鈥淲e are all very excited to have Gillian brighten up this building for us,鈥� said Kevin Flesher, vice-president of the Culture and Arts Society. 鈥淭hanks to the $500 donation from First Credit Union, we are almost at our fundraising goal.鈥�
