Courtenay Museum hosts Spring Fling and Easter Things on Saturday, March 23

One sure sign of spring: the Courtenay Museum’s annual ‘Fling.’

The Courtenay Museum invites the public to its annual Spring Fling and Easter Things event on Saturday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is by donation.

There is a ton of family fun planned within the three hours.

Guests can meet, rabbits, chicks, ducks and their ducklings, hedgehogs, and guinea pigs – all courtesy of Barnyard Party Animals. Amy from Magical Faces will be there to paint faces for a $5 fee. The elasmosaur mascot will be making an appearance between 12:30 and 1 p.m. for photo opportunities and will be handing out Easter chocolate.

Live entertainment will be provided by singer/songwriter Mr. Day, who will present a mixture of interactive storytelling and fun family entertainment, featuring puppets Gus the Giraffe, Rocco Racoon and Itty Bitty Kitty. There will be four half-hour shows: 11:15, noon, 12:45 and 1:30.
