Museum hosts birthday celebration for 103-year-old Comox Valley resident

The HMCS Alberni Museum and Memorial had a very special guest Sunday.

The museum held a celebration for June Gillrie鈥檚 103rd birthday, 鈥�103 minutes with June Gillrie.鈥�

June鈥檚 association with HAMM is through her father. The museum has a display of William Kinnear Leslie, who was killed in action during the Great War a few months after June鈥檚 birth.
