MEO is a new mobile app that connects voters with their elected officials.

Comox-based MEO Technologies Inc. launched an app on March 29 to help voters build stronger connections with their elected representatives.

MEO, which is short for "My Elected Official" is an app that simplifies the process of finding and contacting your elected officials, making it easier than ever for citizens to stay informed and have their voices heard.

“We believe that every voter should feel empowered and have the means to directly engage with those in office,” said Colin Hanes, Founder of MEO. “Our app makes it possible for users to stay up-to-date with their elected officials, voice their opinions, and have an impact on the decisions that shape their communities.”

The app gives people easy and quick access to info about their representatives, including updates on critical issues and gives them the chance to take direct action by sending messages or showing support for elected officials or bills being worked on.

The app aims to increase political participation and strengthen the connection between lawmakers and the people they represent.
