This Sunday at 4 p.m., Ray Grigg will address the regular Unitarian service on the subject of Finding and Maintaining Courage in Difficult Times.
As a bold environmentalist and Taoist scholar, Grigg will bring insights from these two aspects of his life to suggest a way we might live in the midst of our world’s disorder and distress. He will explore Paradox and Peace as a way of engaging in our difficult times while maintaining some sense of balance, proportion and inner tranquility.
Grigg has published seven books on Taoism and Zen, has been involved in environmental issues for nearly five decades, and has been publishing Shades of Green for more than eight years. This environmental column appears weekly in the Campbell River Courier-Islander and can be read online at five sites, including the local Tide Change website.
The Unitarians meet at 250 Beach Ave. (Comox United Church). There is both free childcare and programs for children and youth.
All are welcome to join in this service of worship and stay afterwards for conversation and refreshments. Because of repairs to the kitchen, please bring a mug if you can.
Unitarians gather as a free community of spiritual seekers, and welcome all people of different traditions and beliefs.
