Author has advice for young people

Are you a young budding author? Would you like to get some writing tips?

Then listen to award-winning author Kristin Butcher read from her books and talk about the writing process.

Teacher, mother, grandmother, and former child — Butcher taps all these resources when creating her books for young people.

Butcher published her first middle grade novel in 1997 and hasn't looked back since. She now has 18 books for young people—fiction and non-fiction—with many more under construction.

Books written by Butcher include: Cheat; The Last Superhero; Zach & Zoe – Bully and the Beagle.

Butcher lives and writes in Campbell River.

This program is a free drop-in program and open to children six to 15.
