Two Valley entries receive VIREB Awards

Two Comox Valley entries were recognized at the eighth annual Vancouver Island Real Estate Board Commercial Building Awards.

A couple of Comox Valley entries were recognized at the eighth annual Vancouver Island Real Estate Board Commercial Building Awards April 23 at the Coast Bastion Hotel in Nanaimo.

The Comox Valley Child Development Association won the Excellence Award for Community Recreational Building and the K’omoks First Nation administration building won a Merit Award (runner-up) in the Community Institutional category.

There were a total of 34 entries from the Cowichan Valley to Campbell River represented at the gala in 11 categories.

All projects were completed between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2014.
