Two Eagles Lodge B&B is once again the proud recipient of the TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on tripadvisor.com, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.
Only 10 per cent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this award.
Two Eagles Lodge has earned this honour annually since the award program started in 2011, and also earned status in TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame for achieving consecutive years of excellence.
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four (or higher) out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers. Additional criteria include the quality and volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. Two Eagles Lodge has maintained a five-star ranking and has more than 250 reviews posted by guests.
Carolyn Touhey, co-owner of the B&B and vacation rental, says she is proud to receive the award once again.
“We strive to offer our guests a memorable experience and this accolade is evidence that our hard work translates into positive traveler reviews,” she said.
Two Eagles Lodge is a waterfront B&B and vacation rental located on a 12-acre lot just north of the Denman Island Ferry in Union Bay. The facility was built in 2007 by Carolyn and Steve Touhey.
Since then, the B&B/vacation rental has received numerous other awards based on guest comments, including two Vancouver Island Better Business Bureau Torch Awards, a Vancouver Island Business Excellence Award and two Comox Valley Record Reader’s Choice Awards.
Two Eagles also hosts various events, including weddings, retreats, workshops, private parties, and house concerts.
