Team building workshop on Oct. 2

Are you on a team or leading a team that isn’t working so well?

Maybe it’s because the team doesn’t have shared priorities and goals and everybody’s running off in different directions or maybe it’s because the communication is poor and no one trusts each other anymore.

If that’s the case, you’ve probably tried a few activities such as a team-building activity that probably didn’t last or maybe read about all the dysfunctions of a team and everyone is sitting around waiting for another person to make the first move.

Team coach and facilitator Mary Crowley helps teams identify and fix the things that aren’t working, whether it’s communication, meetings, decision-making, trust, etc.

Creating a high-performing team is possible. Once you know what your team exists to do, the next step is to determine what systems, processes, and behaviours will allow the team to deliver on that purpose.

Join Crowley at North Island College on Friday, Oct. 2 to assess how effective  your team is, learn the key factors to increase its effectiveness, examine your contribution to its success and the steps you can take with your team to excel and achieve a new level of performance and success. The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will include take-away resources. Cost is $179.

To register, please contact North Island College at 250-334-5000.  For more information contact Mary Crowley at 250-702-4592 or email marycrowley@telus.net.
