Two Comox Valley ladies, Mary Bridges and Cathy Livsey, introduce a new business to the Comox Valley. Let’s Go! is a local running-based business focused on teaching others about running in a fun and safe manner.
Cathy and Mary share a passion for running. With more miles on the road between them than some
vehicles, both have a wealth of running information to share with others, along with a keen desire to
do so. Their dedication, determination and consistency in training have led them to complete The Boston Marathon, Vancouver Island Race Series, Trans-Rockies (six-day stage race in Colorado), The Death Race (125km ultra-marathon) and the Iron Man Triathlon.
Thus, the programs they offer have been tried and tested on themselves.
So whether you’re just starting out, looking to improve your running skills or wanting to perform at your
peak, Mary and Cathy can help you.
Let’s Go! offers running help in the form of various clinics including a marathon and half-marathon
clinic geared towards The Goodlife Victoria Marathon in October. The most recent additions to
their series of clinics are Let’s Go Kids!, Runner Boy and Runner Girl, aimed specifically at younger kids in order to cultivate a healthy, active lifestyle from an early age.
Let’s Go! also offers private sessions and are open to special requests, including working with running clubs and other organizations. For more information visit www.letsgocomoxvalley.com.
On Facebook, Let’s Go, Courtenay follows a marathon clinic participant from the beginning of her journey to her victory celebration.
