Harmonic Arts, a family-owned company devoted to sharing the healing power of plant medicine, announced that they are officially a certified B Corporation.

Certified B Corporations strive to make their business a force for good. They care about the social and environmental impact of their business, they are transparent about their performance, and they take accountability through legal commitment.

The team at Harmonic Arts began their B Corp journey in 2021, and this impactful path is deeply aligned with their company values. The journey of getting certified has included:

Implementing more than 10 new policies, documents, and processes that are centered around sustainability, transparency, and accountability.

Partnering with 1% for the Planet and the Cumberland Community Forest Society; donating one per cent of every Elixir and Artisan Tea sale to support forest and habitat conservation. To date, they have donated more than $76,175 to the Cumberland Community Forest Society.

Completing the B Corp Foundations Program (formerly known as Getting to 80) by refining what making an impact means for them.

Earning Green badges multiple years in a row from BC Green Business by implementing suggestions that reduce their impact on the planet.

Becoming Climate Smart Certified by collecting data to get a picture of their carbon footprint and devising an emissions reduction plan.

Submitting their B Impact Assessment and earning a successful score of 83.6.

Harmonic Arts has always operated with the vision of uniting people and the planet through the power of plant medicine while keeping ethical and sustainable action at the forefront of its processes.

“I am very proud of our team’s hard work to get us to the certification milestone,” said Chantal Horning, CEO of Harmonic Arts. “We have learned so much throughout the process and are proud to be joining a global community of like-minded businesses. I look forward to what lies ahead as we continue on this transformative path.”

The entire team continues to work together to improve the business and build trust with the Harmonic Arts community, all while providing you with the plant-powered products you know and love.
