Trish Medland, a business development and marketing consultant, will speak at the Business Network International this Thursday.

Later that night, she will work with the awards committee to set up the venue and the distribution of awards for the Home-Based Business Association.

Medland has written and published more than 14 books internationally.

She has written books on business, marketing, operational manuals, children鈥檚 books and a family member who had epilepsy. Medland has been seen on television, newspapers, radio, and in trade magazines.

She has been living in the Comox Valley since 1998 and has volunteered at St. Joseph鈥檚 General Hospital, School District 71, and Nautical Days while following her passion for teaching.
