So much goes into making downtown Courtenay what it is: a great place to shop, dine, do business and visit.
The Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association plays a critical role in making downtown a wonderful place to be. Its upcoming Annual General Meeting will highlight initiatives they have undertaken in the past year.
The meeting is Wednesday at the Comox Valley Art Gallery on Duncan Avenue. There will be a meet and greet at 6 p.m. followed by the call to order for the AGM at 6:30 pm.
“This is a good opportunity to talk to business people, and learn what the DCBIA has been doing this past year,” president Mark Middleton said.
Attendees will hear reports from BIA committees and a presentation by the Comox Valley Walk of Achievement Committee. A new board of directors will be elected.
